Permaculture Re-defined

I think the focus of permaculture as a movement may be fundamentally changed in the wake the past four years.   In the current social chaos, what we call permaculture must extend beyond our methods of growing food and building shelters. We must also find new imaginative models of what is true and what is real.

This is is not only the project of intellectuals or experts, but the work of each individual life lived authentically.    By my definition, any activity that reflects a deep connection to one’s own life is defined here as a contribution to permanent culture.
